The mini 4-H dog project is designed to provide an opportunity for learning about dogs and being able to develop a positive relationship with them.
This project is for youth who are currently in Kindergarten, First or Second grade as of January 1st of the current year. Workshops and trainings will be held during designated dog training sessions. Minis will be paired with an advanced dog and handler to perform either a behavior or game or both. These will be practiced and introduced at the training sessions. The minis will be using the advanced handler’s dog for any and all activities.
They must complete Fair Entry in accordance with all other projects. They willshow their skills as an exhibition only and not judged or placed like in a regular show.
